Each year since 1998 the Kiwanis Club of Brisbane has supported Muscular Dystrophy Qld and their annual HOG (Harley Owners Group) Ride.
Our team sets out early to provide breakfast for 100 HOG riders and their pillions before setting off on a Queensland
country ride.
The 2023 ride saw riders heading north, with morning tea held at Delaney’s Creek before a windy, hilly, twisty ride through the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Our lunch stop was the Heritage Hotel in Old Petrie Town before the ride back to Newstead. Sore bottoms, chapped lips and huge smiles were everywhere after our incredible day out.
Kiwanis Brisbane has been supporting this day for over 25 years and this annual event is looked forward to each year by the Club. Some of our members joined and ride and had a wonderful time.
All funds raised on the day go a long way towards
supporting so many families living with muscular dystrophy.
